Carl & Ellie

Congratulations to Carl and Ellie on their beautiful wedding day! Their love story is one that truly reflects the beauty of finding love through faith and shared beliefs. As a wedding photographer, I was honoured to capture the special moments of their big day.

The wedding ceremony took place at St Thomas's Church in Basingstoke, just down the road from where Carl and Ellie first met. The church provided a stunning backdrop for the couple's vows and the beginning of their journey as husband and wife.

Ellie's father surprised her with a vintage 1935 Triumph Gloria as transportation to and from the venue. The classic car added a touch of elegance to the day and made for some great photo opportunities.

The celebrations continued at Rotherwick Village Hall, where family and friends gathered from all over the UK and Canada to share in the joy of the couple's union. The reception was filled with love, happiness, and worship, as the couple and their guests celebrated their shared faith.

The speeches were a highlight of the day, with Carl giving a heartfelt and beautiful speech, and his best man delivering a witty and entertaining speech, as expected from any best man. However, the father of the bride stole the show with his hilarious musical rendition of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, adapted to super-CARL-ifragilisticexp-ELLIE-docious, which brought laughter and joy to all.

Despite the forecast for rain, the day was blessed with sunshine and warmth, leading to spontaneous garden games for both adults and children. It was a perfect way to end a beautiful day filled with love and laughter.
